One driver was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 32 early Friday morning.
An Oregon State Police report said just before 12:30 a.m. a pickup was westbound on the highway near Milepost 64 in the Tenmile area when the vehicle crossed the double yellow painted center divider. It went into the oncoming lane of travel, striking an eastbound commercial motor vehicle.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage. The pickup came to rest in the westbound lane of travel. The driver of the pickup was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for treatment. It was determined that he was under the influence of intoxicants. The man refused to provide a blood sample, and a search warrant was obtained for the blood samples. The pickup was towed from the scene.
No further information was released by Oregon State Police.
