Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a parole violation on Monday morning.

An RPD report said just after 5:50 a.m. officers contacted the 27-year-old in the 400 block of Southeast Spruce Street because they knew she was wanted by her parole officer for failing to report as required. The woman was taken into custody without incident. She was transported to corrections and detained without bail. The woman was released later on Monday.
