ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR ALLEGED HARASSMENT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged harassment incident on Wednesday evening.

An RPD report said just before 6:00 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 700 block of Southeast Sheridan Street after a manager said the 35-year-old was acting disorderly inside and refusing to leave. Officers arrived on scene and learning the suspect had reportedly spat in the victim’s face as he was trying to escort the woman out of the restaurant. The woman was located nearby and taken into custody. She was charged with harassment and detained on $2,500 bail.
