Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 10:00 a.m. the 66-year-old was contacted after a victim said he had attempted to enter her residence in the 1000 block of West Pilger Street. This was a violation of a restraining order between the two. The man admitted to going to the residence. He was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $5,000.
