Roseburg Police jailed a man for a failure to appear warrant on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just after 6:00 a.m. officers initiated a traffic stop on the 19-year-old after observing him traveling at 69-miles per hour on Northeast Stephens Street in a posted 35-mile per hour zone. During the traffic stop near the intersection of Southeast Rose Street and Southeast Douglas Avenue, officers learned the man had a warrant for his arrest out of the Sutherlin Police Department. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $5,000.
