ROSEBURG MAN JAILED FOR WARRANT

A Roseburg man was jailed for a warrant on Friday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 3:30 p.m. a deputy stopped a vehicle for traffic violations near the intersection of Gazley Road and McGinty Drive in the Myrtle Creek area. A 34-year-old man was contacted as the driver. He was found to have an active warrant out of Douglas County Circuit Court. His driving status in Oregon was also driving while suspended-misdemeanor. The warrant was confirmed and the man was taken into custody without incident. The man’s vehicle was impounded. Bail was set at $7,500.
