A typical summer weather pattern is expected this week in the Umpqua Valley.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that highs will be in the mid 80’s except for Friday, when it may reach 90 degrees. Overnight lows will be in the mid 50’s.

Some forecast models show the potential for warmer weather next week.

The mercury hit 86 degrees on Sunday at the Roseburg Regional Airport. 88 degrees is the normal high for the date.
