A Sutherlin man was jailed for violation of a stalking order early Wednesday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:20 a.m. the 32-year-old was stopped by the Sutherlin Police Department in the 200 block of South Calapooia Street for a traffic offense. A deputy responded to take the man into custody for three previous cases. He was transported to corrections and was detained on $50,000 bail.
