Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and for a criminal count of prohibited camping on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 9:00 a.m. the 55-year-old was contacted at his camp at the Umpqua Greenway in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens Street.  Officers learned the man had the active warrant for his arrest. He was also found to be in violation of the Roseburg camping ordinance. He was taken into custody without incident and was given the criminal citation for camping due to this being his third violation. Bail was set at $10,000.
