Oregon State Police jailed a man for driving under the influence and reckless driving on Monday night.

An OSP report said at 8:55 p.m. a trooper was dispatched to a driving complaint on Interstate 5 southbound about a mile north of Sutherlin. The trooper located the suspect vehicle near the landfill exit at milepost 121 and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, a 66-year-old man, showed signs of impairment. He was ultimately arrested and taken to corrections where he was detained without bail.
