Roseburg Police charged a man Thursday with a pair of recent theft incidents.
An RPD report said officers contacted a loss prevention employee from a store in the 1300 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard regarding the theft of multiple items on May 30th and 31st. They learned that the 34-year-old suspect was the same individual that had been arrested for a different theft case from the same store on June 1st.
At 9:40 a.m. officers interviewed the suspect, who was already in the Douglas County Jail. He admitted to committing the first two thefts and two selling two stolen chain saws for $100 each.
The man was charged with three counts of first-degree theft. He remained in custody with bail now set at $6,250.
