Troopers with Oregon State Police jailed a man for a warrant in the Tri City area on Wednesday evening.

An OSP report said at approximately 7:25 p.m. troopers responded to a suspicious person call two miles north of Myrtle Creek. A male was contacted closer to the Tri City exit. It was determined that the male was unrelated to the suspicious person call, but the man was found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody. Bail was set at $5,000.
