Roseburg Police jailed a woman for felony warrants and cited her for prohibited camping on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 9:00 a.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old at the far north end of Templin Beach Park in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Avenue where her camp was set up. Camping is never allowed at this location. The camp had a smoldering campfire in front of it, which was called in by a neighborhood resident after they smoke coming from it. A man that was with the woman stated he lit the fire the night before to cook some food. He was cited and released for prohibited camping.

A records check revealed three warrants for the woman’s arrest out of Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. The warrants were confirmed and the woman was detained without issue. Bail was set at $30,000.
