No one was injured when a classic car was in an accident on Tuesday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s report said at 5:40 p.m. a 73-year-old man was pulling out of his driveway in the 100-block of Matthew Lee Court in the Green District. While backing up, the throttle stuck on his vintage 1932 Ford two-door and the car reversed rapidly, running into the bushes in front of a nearby residence.

The vehicle was operable and had been removed before a deputy arrived.
