Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a parole violation on Tuesday evening.

An RPD report said at 6:50 p.m. officers contacted the 34-year-old near the intersection of Northeast Chestnut Street and Northeast Walnut Street, believing that she was wanted by her parole officer. A detainer was authorized and the woman was held without bail.
