ROSEBURG HAS HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR, FIRST 90 PLUS DEGREE DAY SINCE SEPTEMBER

Roseburg had the hottest day of the year on Tuesday and the first 90 plus degree day since last September.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 91 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. That is the first time Roseburg had a high over 90 degrees since September 24th of last year when the maximum temperature also reached 91 degrees. The previous hottest day of 2026 was on Monday, when the high was 86 degrees.

A frontal system is bringing much cooler temperatures for the rest of the week with afternoon highs expected to be in the low to mid 70s. There is a slight chance of rain forecast for Saturday.
