Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported theft at a store on Sunday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:15 p.m. officers contacted the 42-year-old after he was allegedly stealing from the business in the 3000 block of Northwest Aviation Drive. He was found to have a license that was suspended at the misdemeanor level. The man admitted to both stealing from the store and driving his vehicle. He was transported to corrections.

He was charged with second-degree theft and driving while suspended-misdemeanor. Bail was set at $12,500.
