The Umpqua Valley will see a mix of dry conditions and showers this week.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the area should have high temperatures near seasonal norms on Monday and Tuesday.  A weak front will bring a slight potential for showers on Tuesday.

Wednesday and Thursday will slowly heat up with an afternoon high in the low to mid 70’s on Wednesday and just over 80 degrees on Thursday.  A more significant front is expected to lead to the chance of showers Friday through Sunday. The weekend is forecast to have below normal high temperatures with the mercury reaching only around 60 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
