Roseburg had the second warmest day of 2025 on Tuesday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 80 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. Monday was the hottest day of 2025 to this point, with a high of 84 degrees.
The high Tuesday was not a record for the date. April 15th’s record high is 90 degrees, set in 1947.
Forecasters said the Umpqua Valley will see the high temperature dropping by nearly 10 degrees Wednesday, with a high of 71 degrees expected. That is still well above the normal highs for this week in April which are in the range of 62 to 64 degrees.
Sunny dry conditions are forecast for the foreseeable future.
