ROSEBURG HAD SECOND DAY WITH HIGH AROUND 10 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL

Roseburg had a second day in a row with a high temperature around ten degrees above normal.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 73 degrees on Thursday afternoon at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The normal high temperature for April 10th is 62 degrees. The record high for the date is 83 degrees set in 2004.

After a cooler weekend with highs near the seasonal norms, forecasters say warmer weather is ahead for the Umpqua Valley next week.
