The water is now okay to drink in Glendale as of Friday afternoon.

City Manager/Recorder Dawn Russ told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that lab test results came back, giving residents the all-clear to drink the water.

Russ said on Wednesday night at around 6:00 p.m. staff had been notified of a water leak. Russ said it turned out to be a water main break on Azalea Glen Road. By approximately 8:45 p.m. the break was repaired with the system back online.

Residents were told at that time to boil water until the test results were completed.
