The Umpqua Valley is expecting to see warmer weather for a few days, with Friday and Saturday having the highest temperatures.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that Thursday will be milder with high temperatures going up a few degrees over Wednesday. More sunshine Friday and Saturday will lead to highs in the low to mid 70’s. A front coming in on Sunday is expected to bring some light rain starting late in the morning or early in the afternoon. More showers are forecast for early next week.

Forecasters said the weather gauges at the airport have been repaired after not capturing data since March 18th. Wednesday’s high temperature was 54 degrees.
