Roseburg Police cited a man Tuesday evening for a prior hit and run incident.

An RPD report said the 61-year-old was a suspect in a hit and run case that occurred on October 1st. He was contacted at 8:00 p.m. in the 900 block of Southeast Stephens Street. The man admitted to hitting another car with his vehicle and then driving away. He was placed in handcuffs and transported to corrections.

The man was cited with failure to perform the duties of a driver, driving while suspended-violation and for driving uninsured. He was released after the citation was issued.
