Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited burning early Friday.

An RPD report said at 1:20 a.m. officers contacted the 42-year-old underneath the Washington Avenue Bridge at Riverside Park in the 400 block of Southeast Spruce Street.

The man reportedly had a fire burning adjacent to the pedestrian path. The fire was extinguished, and the man was cited and released.
