MEDFORD MAN JAILED FOR BEING A FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

April 4, 2025 2:00 p.m.  

A Medford man was jailed for being a felon in possession of a firearm by Oregon State Police on Thursday night.

An OSP report said shortly before 10:00 p.m. a disabled pickup was checked on near the intersection of Interstate 5 and Highway 42, east of Green. 32-year-old Michael Mak was in the passenger seat and had a pistol in his lap. He was taken into custody due to his status. Bail was set at $50,000.

The vehicle was owned by the passenger who stayed with his pickup.
