Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public Monday evening.

An RPD report said at 6:50 p.m. a 63-year-old man was contacted because he was sitting on the sidewalk in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and was drinking a can of malt liquor.

He was released after the citation was issued.
