SAN FRANCISCO MAN JAILED FOR HAVING STOLEN VEHICLE

A San Francisco man was jailed for having a stolen vehicle on Wednesday night.

An Oregon State Police report released late Friday said OSP had been notified that a recently stolen SUV from California was passing through the Grants Pass area. Just after 11:00 p.m. troopers located the vehicle in Glendale occupied by a male, The man, identified as 52-year-old Nicholas Reiner, had allegedly caused interior damage to the SUV in excess of $1,000, in addition to possessing it. Reiner was subsequently charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, unlawful entry to a vehicle, and first-degree criminal mischief. He was detained without bail and was released on Friday.
