Roseburg Police jailed two brothers for an alleged robbery at a store on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 5:00 pm. the 36-year-old and 34-year-old were allegedly caught stealing merchandise from WinCo Foods in the 2700 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The men reportedly fought with loss prevention. The 36-year-old allegedly punched a store employee several times during the incident. The 34-year-old reportedly also made threats and attempts to get the stolen merchandise back from the employee, while the employee was being hit by the other suspect.

The brothers fled on foot. Both were caught later and taken into custody. They were each charged with second-degree robbery and were detained without bail.
