A Drain man was jailed on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and second-degree disorderly conduct Tuesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said 32-year-old Nicholas Snyder was called in numerous times as callers said he was driving recklessly around Yoncalla and Drain. Snyder was allegedly also threatening citizens to the point where they left their home for the night. He was found to be driving into Drain, and a traffic stop was conducted. Synder was described by deputies as intoxicated and belligerent. He refused standard field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He later provided a blood alcohol level of 0.15 percent.

Synder was detained without bail
