Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Wednesday.

An RPD report said shortly after 8:00 a.m. the 58-year-old was contacted at a large camp near the south side of Riverside Park in the 500 block of Southeast Spruce Street. He was cited as his camp was set up past the Time, Place and Manner rules. He was also given a citation for smoking a cigarette in the park which is a violation in all Roseburg parks.

The man was released after the citations were issued.
