ROSEBURG POLICE ARREST MAN IN FRAUD CASE

Roseburg Police arrested a man Wednesday while following up on a fraud case.

An RPD report said officers contacted 43-year-old Jason Tatiano at 12:30 p.m. while he was in the 1300 block of West Harvard Avenue. Tatiano was allegedly photo-shopping credit cards and using stolen card numbers. Tatiano was reportedly using the cards to stay at various motels in the Roseburg area. He was also allegedly photo-shopping, disseminating and selling cards in the area.

Tatiano was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit a Class C felony, three counts each of fraudulent use of a credit card, computer crimes, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, and identity theft. He was also charged with two counts of first-degree theft and one count of second-degree theft.

Tatiano was detained without bail.
