The Ford Family Foundation will have a virtual event Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. titled, “Money for College: Ford Transfer and Ford Opportunity info session.”

For community college students, adult learners over age 25 or parents of any who are seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree in their home state of Oregon, the Ford Opportunity and Ford Transfer programs cover expenses such as tuition, living expenses, books and required fees – up to $40,000 a year.

Those attending can hear from recent Ford Family scholarship recipients and get applications directly from the scholarship office.
