Roseburg Forest Products has announced that Cybelle White has been promoted to the role of chief of staff and officially joins the company’s executive team. White stepped into this role at the first of the year.
Corporate Communications Director Rebecca Taylor said as chief of staff, White will focus on aligning strategic initiatives, fostering communication and quick decision making and executing projects on the CEO’s behalf. She will also lead the executive team’s work in board engagement. Taylor said the overall purpose of the role is to drive results by strengthening execution, follow up and accountability.
President and CEO Stuart Gray said, “Cybelle has for years served as a de facto Chief of Staff and member of the executive team – having a seat and voice at the executive table and acting on the CEO’s behalf”. Gray said, “Cybelle was instrumental in the execution of our CEO transition in 2023”. Gray said the promotion recognizes the role White plays in the company’s leadership and positions her for expanded impact across the company. Gray said, “I am certain that Cybelle’s focus as Chief of Staff will help drive out initiatives to successful outcomes and extend our productivity”.
Taylor said White first joined the company in 2016 as executive assistant to then President and CEO Grady Mulberry. White’s scope and influence steadily expanded and in 2022 she was named Manager of Executive Office and Board Relations. Taylor said in that role, she worked to streamline and create efficiencies within the executive office and board of director structures and led the company’s team of executive assistants.
