A Douglas County man was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with murder.

45-year-old William Tiemann, from Roseburg, was taken into custody by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office shortly after 12:00 a.m. Sunday.

Details are still scarce regarding the incident that reportedly occurred on Carnes Road.

Tiemann was lodged at the Douglas County Jail, where he remains held without bail on a charge of second-degree murder.

The name of the victim has not been released at the is time.
