MUSIC IN THE PARK UNVEILS 2023 CONCERT LINEUP

In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Music in the Park has released the lineup for its 36th year of summer concerts.

Presented by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City area of Commerce, the shows are held in Millsite Park on Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

*July 6th: The Endeavors from Coos Bay. Classic rock, R&B, raggae and more

*July 13th: Karaoke Contest with four age groups and prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each group

*July 20th: Coleen & Company from Roseburg. Dance music, Motown, blues-rock, boogie-rock, blue-eyed soul and rock n roll

*August 3rd: Gretchen Owens & The Jake Brakes from Glendale. Special “all country” performance

*August 10th: The Eddy Ross Band from Roseburg.  Classic country and rock

*August 17th: Midnight Roar from Roseburg. A variety of rock with a sprinkle of country

*August 24th: Timberwolf from Coos Bay. “Good to dance to covers”

*August 31st: TOB-That Other Band from Roseburg and Portland.  Classic reggae, funk, pop, blues and more

Valley View Shopping Center is the Overall Major Contributor for the series. There are food vendors both on and off site and plenty of free parking. Those attending should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Dogs are allowed, if kept under control and cleaned up after.
