Sutherlin Police jailed a transient following an alleged burglary incident on Friday.

An SPD report said at about 4:20 p.m. 39-year old Angela Wells allegedly broke four windows to gain entry to a vacant house in the 600 block of Calapooia Street. Wells reportedly removed several items from inside the building. She was charged with first-degree burglary, and third-degree counts of theft and criminal mischief.

Wells was held without bail.
