A Winston man was jailed following a traffic stop Wednesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 6:00 p.m. a deputy stopped a sedan for expired registration, in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The deputy talked to the driver, a 41-year old man. He returned with a warrant out of the Roseburg Police Department for driving while suspended-misdemeanor.

The man was jailed for the warrant and also for driving while suspended. Bail was set at $12,500.
