In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Th Umpqua Community College Performing and Visual Arts Department will present a theatre performance of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” by Andrew Weber and Tim Rice.

It will be on stage in the Jacoby Auditorium May 11th-May 14th. UCC theatre students, community members, as well as Maple Corner Montessori school children will all be featured.

Considered by many as one of the most enduring shows of all time, it is a reimaging of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.

The production can be seen that week Thursday through Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. with matinees at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $15 cash at the door. The production is appropriate for all ages.
