Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged disturbance on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 9:30 p.m. officers responded to the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens Street and found the 28-year old screaming and causing issues at the home of a relative. The resident had agreed to let the woman stay, presuming that she would sleep.

Officers came back about 30 minutes later after it was reported that the suspect was screaming and banging on the side of the house. Officers attempted to detain the woman, who allegedly resisted. She was eventually taken into custody.

The suspect was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and for resisting arrest. Bail was set at $8,750.
