Dan Bartram and Debbie Hamilton were named as Sutherlin’s man and woman of the year for 2023, on Sunday.

The 68th annual First Citizens Banquet had a western theme and took place at Workman’s Bar & Smokehouse in Green.

Other winners were:

*Jack Chostner – Inspirational of the Year

*Beth Moore and Coral Denley – Educators of the Year

*Wailani Shave Ice and Island Grinds – Outstanding Area Business

*Sutherlin Lions Club – Outstanding Area Service

The Sutherlin Area Chamber of Commerce President’s Award went to Magic Mushroom Oregon Gifts. It was presented by Chamber President Annalee Hodges.
