A Roseburg man was jailed for a trespass incident by Roseburg Police on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 8:30 a.m. an officer contacted the 53-year old on the sidewalk at the corner of Southeast Cass Avenue and Southeast Rose Street. The man was allegedly drinking a beer. He had previously been excluded from the downtown area.

The suspect was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and for drinking in public. He was released from custody on Wednesday.
