The Art Gallery at Umpqua Community College is presenting “An Unfolding Process: UCC’s Annual Student Art Exhibition” by UCC students starting this Friday.

A release said a reception will be held this Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

Susan Rochester, Chair of Arts and Humanities and Associate Professor of Visual Arts, said each spring the college presents a juried student art exhibition, which now returns to UCC’s physical gallery space after two years due to the pandemic. Rochester said the exhibit showcases work from students enrolled in UCC’s fine art classes during the current academic year.

The release said the collective art show will present the abilities and talents of emerging artists from UCC, featuring works in studio arts, specifically ceramics, basic design, drawing and painting.

Admission to the gallery is free. It is open Monday’s, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
