COVID-19 CLAIMS 26 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 3,649, AS OF WEDNESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 26 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 3,649, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 2,312 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 317,107.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 939, which is 5 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 270 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 6 more than on Tuesday.

*266 in Marion County

*224 in Washington County

*169 in Deschutes County

*143 in Lane County

*119 in Linn County

*106 in Jackson County

*72 in Umatilla County

*68 in Grant County

*59 in Douglas County

*53 each in Coos and Umatilla counties

*45 in Polk County

*41 each in Benton and Malheur counties

*39 each in Clackamas and Klamath counties

*33 each in Columbia and Josephine counties

*27 in Harney County

*21 in Jefferson County

*19 in Baker County

*18 in Wasco County

*16 in Union County

*14 in Clatsop County

*13 in Wallowa County

*12 each in Crook and Tillamook counties

*9 each in Hood River and Lake counties

*7 in Morrow County

*4 in Curry County

*1 each in Gilliam and Sherman counties
