COVID-19 CLAIMS 22 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 3,569, AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 22 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 3.569, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 2,099 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 309,841.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,002 which is 25 fewer than on Thursday. There are 287 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Thursday.

The new cases include:

*252 in Clackamas County

*218 in Multnomah County

*188 in Washington County

*176 in Lane County

*157 in Marion County

*128 each in Deschutes or Linn counties

*127 in Yamhill County

*115 in Jackson County

*63 in Umatilla County

*59 each in Douglas and Klamath counties

*57 in Polk County

*48 in Josephine County

*40 in Coos County

*36 in Malheur County

*29 in Wasco County

*28 in Baker County

*25 each in Benton and Lincoln counties

*22 in Columbia County

*17 in Crook County

*16 in Tillamook County

*14 in Jefferson County

*12 each in Clatsop, Hood river and Lake counties

*11 in Harney County

*8 in Union County

*7 in Wallowa County

*3 in Gilliam County

*2 each in Curry and Sherman counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 53 to 95.
