Seven Feathers Casino Resort will close temporarily for four days to upgrade its power system infrastructure and to finalize improvements in its heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system.

A release from spokesperson Susan Ferris said the closure will begin at 11:00 p.m. this Sunday night and continue until next Friday morning at 7:00 a.m.

Ferris said the upgrade is an ongoing necessity at the facility in order to keep improving the overall guest experience and to protect Seven Feathers from power quality disturbances property wide. Ferris said Seven Feathers recently expanded its HVAC system that delivers Active Air Treatment, by Environ Safety, into all its public spaces. A release said the system has established a proven reputation for safety and is also effective in neutralizing pathogens, including COVID-19.

Seven Feathers General Manager Shawn McDaniel said, “Our first goal is always to protect and keep safe our on-property guests and staff”. McDaniel said the expansion of this equipment into all the property’s public spaces is a “…noteworthy step forward in improving public health at the Resort”.

Seven Feathers is owned and operated by the Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe of Indians.
