COVID-19 CLAIMS 21 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 3,394, AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 21 more lives, raising the state’s death toll at 3,394, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 2,437 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 294,392.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,150, which is 12 more than on Wednesday. There are 288 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 fewer than on Wednesday. The new cases include:

*203 each in Marion and Multnomah counties

*190 in Jackson County

*189 in Lane County

*180 in Washington County

*168 in Douglas County

*152 in Deschutes County

*134 in Linn County

*119 in Umatilla County

*98 in Polk County

*90 in Josephine County

*75 in Malheur County

*52 in Yamhill County

*45 in Coos County

*39 in Crook County

*37 in Clatsop County

*27 in Columbia County

*25 in Klamath County

*23 in Wasco County

*22 each in Baker and Union counties

*21 in Jefferson County

*20 in Grant County
