COVID-19 CLAIMS 47 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 3,373, AS OF WEDNESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 47 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 3,373, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 2,352 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 291,978.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,138, which is 2 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 297 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 fewer than on Tuesday. The new cases include:

*201 in Jackson County

*154 in Coos County

*147 in Multnomah County

*142 in Lane County

*139 in Yamhill County

*137 in Clackamas County

*135 in Washington County

*132 in Douglas County

*118 in Linn County

*115 in Umatilla County

*86 each in Deschutes and Josephine counties

*85 in Klamath County

*82 in Malheur County

*64 in Polk County

*40 in Benton County

*37 in Curry County

*30 in Crook County

*29 in Wasco County

*21 in Lake County

*19 in Harney County

*18 in Columbia County

*15 in Tillamook County

*13 in Baker County
