One driver was injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Friday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 12:05 p.m. a driver was behind a diesel truck in the left turn lane on Stewart Parkway, getting ready to turn onto Harvey. The driver said the truck left a black cloud of smoke and he attempted to turn and didn’t see a second vehicle at all, resulting in a collision

The report said the other driver, who had been going south, also saw the truck leaving a black cloud of smoke. The second driver said he tried to avoid the collision but it was like the first driver never saw him. The first vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage while the second car had heavy damage to the left front bumper and left tire area.

The second driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for a complaint of neck and left shoulder blade pain. The first driver was cited for making a dangerous left turn. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
