COVID-19 VACCINATION OPPORTUNITIES THIS WEEK

There are a number of COVID-19 vaccination opportunities this week in Douglas County.

The Tiger Team has free pop up vaccine clinics, working with Umpqua Valley Ambulance who provides a certified vaccinator and a medical assistant. Clinics are open to anyone 18 years of age and older and pre-registration is not required. A calendar of upcoming clinics is linked: https://douglaspublichealthnetwork.org/tiger-team-schedules/. Those interested in having the Tiger Team come to their location can call 670-3110 to get on the schedule.

Aviva Health is offering free drive through COVID-19 vaccination and testing services to all symptomatic residents as well as registered Aviva patients who are asymptomatic. No appointment is needed. Patients must be 12 years of age and older. The drive through is at 4221 Northeast Stephens. Its open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Vaccinations are also available on a limited basis at Aviva’s outlying clinics in north county, Sutherlin, Glide and Myrtle Creek. Residents seeking vaccinations at the outlying clinics should call 672-9596 to determine availability.

The Cow Creek Health and Wellness Center has daily COVID-19 vaccination clinics and testing for all community members across from 2360 Northeast Stephens Street. They are open weekdays from 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on weekends. Residents must be 18 years of age or older to receive the vaccine. Call 529-9608 for more information.
