In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Artists have until May 15th at 12:00 a.m.to apply for the 55th annual Summer Arts Festival presented by Umpqua Valley Arts.

Staff are ecstatic over the response of interested art vendors who have already applied, but there is room for more.

The Summer Arts Festival is UVA’s biggest fundraiser of the year and provides the non-profit with essential operational funding so it can continue its mission of providing quality arts and culture programming.

Volunteers are needed for the festival as well. Last year over 150 UVA supporters helped make the event a success.
